3/3/2013 – New tune! - Shokunin

Mystik Vibrosis and I worked on this track over several weeks. We wanted to write a Glitch Hop track so we put a bunch of different sounds together and then started refinding the track. What we ended up with wasn't pure Glitch Hop but I love the track anyway.

Also, stay tuned for my new album! This album is going to be a killer. I'm so happy with the way it has turned out. As we speak, it is being mastered, and images are being rendered in order to make this thing the perfect representation of where my music is up to at the moment! Lots of great analog sounds to be heard! Release date coming soon.

9/12/2012 – I've started a Blog!

If you take a look at the menu, there is now a link to my new Blog! I'm excited about this as I can write articles more quickly this way. I hope to get a lot of content up there over time. Unfortunately, it seems to be a bit flaky. The page doesn't always load correctly so you may have to hit refresh once or twice.

2/12/2012 – New tune! - Stretch

This is the result of a quiet Sunday afternoon session. It features the Yamaha CS-10 for lead!

13/10/2012 – New tunes and news!

You could be forgiven for thinking that I have not been up to much lately. Actually, I've been super busy. So much so that I haven't had time to update my website or Sound Cloud. So today I'm playing catching up and posting 4 tracks that I worked on recently. I have also posted a video of me producing one of these tracks here on YouTube. Here is a cheesy YouTube clip of one of the tracks so please take the time to share the link if you are in to old video game music. Apart from all this, I am about to start a live music collaboration with Ben Coggins, I'm part way through a Glitch Hop collaboration with Mystik Vibrosis and I'm about 60%-70% of the way through finishing a new album. So, keep an eye on this website!

Please right click on these links and click Save As to download. Or visit my Sound Cloud page to have a listen.

20/5/2012 – Mr. Bill – Beat The Clock (Ableton Competition)

Mr. Bill is surely one of the hottest producers on the planet at the moment. For those who don't know of Mr. Bill, he an Extreme Ableton Ninja and an excellent glitch/dubstep/crunk producer.I'm writing this post because his Ableton tutorials have personally helped me to take my skills up to their current state, and he has taught me an immense amount about production.

I'm asking you to have a listen to a track which is his entry in to the Ableton beat the clock competition. If you're not completely convinced that his track is the clear winner of the competition, you can write me a filthy email. Listen to and vote for the track here here

Here's my contribution to the comp. You can download the track from Sound Cloud. Please don't vote for it.

13/5/2012 – New Tune! – Tempest

Bought a new pieces of software this afternoon. The result is below

15/4/2012 – New Tune! – Saturnalia

I really like this tune. It really captures the essence of the kind of music I've loved over the past 10 years. I'm not an analog purest but I'm getting great sounds out of my Roland SH-2. I made this track with only sounds from the SH-2. This includes drums, percussion, and pads. Have a listen and tell me what you think!

7/4/2012 – New Tune! – Hex Nipple

A funky tune using some of the analog stuff I've had access to lately. Thanks to Reno Switch for the lend of the 909!

7/4/2012 – New Tune! – Train Driver

This is a glitchy downtempo tune. Listen with headphones!

10/3/2012 – SoundCloud Release – Guitar Song

This song has been in the Listen and Download sections for a while but I thought I'd get it on SoundCloud. If you've got a boring film that needs some music, this is your tune!

4/3/2012 – New Section – Ableton

I have added an Ableton section for fellow music producers. I have added a new MaxForLive device called Lope. Check it out! Pretty soon I'll be adding more tutorials and videos about my various MaxForLive devices and general Ableton tips. Get involved by posting on Facebook and Twitter
